Many of you read my heart note from last week about reviveTX and jumping in while the missionaries and organization are still here helping us kick this off as a lifestyle. If you were in worship Sunday, you heard that the Time to Revive leadership has made a HUGE shift to help churches in each of the 10 regions grow in their involvement with reviveTX.
This shift is about the schedule on Fridays and Saturdays for the remaining three weeks of reviveTX, culminating on Pentecost, June 4th. Starting this week, Lighthouse Fellowship will be hosting all the activities on Fridays and Saturdays as well. This is GREAT news and an ANSWERED PRAYER because it gives our church, and churches in our region, the opportunity to go on Outreaches at a time when most would be off work and therefore give them the chance to go out on a team.
So, Friday’s and Saturday’s schedule will be the same as Monday through Thursday, and it will be at Lighthouse. So the schedule is this:
- 7am– Prayer and Breakfast
- 9am– Organize into teams and go out to a church to pray and begin the Outreach
- 12pm– Back to the church for testimonies about what God’s done and lunch
- 2pm– Organize into teams and go out to pray for people on an Outreach
- 5:30pm– Back to the church for supper
- 7pm– Evening prayer and worship
The Outreaches are really the focal point of reviveTX and where so much profound work has been accomplished. It is so exciting and wonderful to be on an Outreach with a team. And remember, you don’t even have to talk, you can just go and listen and observe. Come for a morning, or an afternoon, or how about for the whole day, you won’t believe how blessed you will be!
Please, revival requires sacrifice, let go of the schedule conflicts and challenges and allow the Holy Spirit to embrace you as you go out. It is invigorating and wonderful to be engaged in this profound work of God.
We will be offering child care on Saturday mornings also to make sure you have a safe place for your kids to be while you’re out.
What a privilege it is for Lighthouse to host our region for six extra days on the Fridays and Saturdays over the next three weeks.
It’s about Jesus, and that by God’s grace, we have been given freedom from sin and death by the blood He shed on the cross.
I’ve asked our leadership to enter into a time of fasting and prayer over these last three weeks that the Lord would raise up more laborors for this harvest that is incredible. Come and be a part in this work of God, it will enrich your lives like you just can’t believe.
Romans 10:14-17 “But how can people call for help if they don’t know who to trust? And how can they know who to trust if they haven’t heard of the One who can be trusted? And how can they hear if nobody tells them? And how is anyone going to tell them, unless someone is sent to do it? That’s why Scripture exclaims, A sight to take your breath away! Grand processions of people telling all the good things of God!
Let’s go tell the good things of God to the nations!
