Lighthouse LifeGroups exist to connect people relationally so they can grow spiritually. They are the core of all we do with adult ministries at Lighthouse because they are designed to help us be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do what Jesus did.

Connect Relationally

Meaningful relationships are the foundation of LifeGroups. Everything you do as a group is designed to help you build relationships in community with others. This means being available to listen, care, and meet each other's needs.

Grow Spiritually

LifeGroups equip group members to actively take the next step on their faith journey of being with Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and doing what Jesus did. This happens through practicing the lifestyle and teachings of Jesus in such areas as spiritual disciplines, Bible study, prayer, and authentic community. 

Serve Faithfully

Jesus said he didn’t “come to be served but to serve. . .” (Mark 10:45). Likewise, we must seek to give our lives away to others so that we may truly find ourselves. Service gives our lives meaning. Each group should regularly join in service together. 

Share Openly

Since Jesus called all his followers to make disciples who will also make disciples (Mark 1:17; Matthew 28:19), we must actively look for ways to share the Good News of Jesus with others. LifeGroups help us become comfortable telling our faith stories so we can share the Gospel with others.
