That's the question we should be asking ourselves every day. Who is our next one? The next person we'll pray for, the next person we'll share the love of God with, be an example of Christ to, give the gospel news; the next person God will put in our path to sow the seed of salvation.
It's our primary call to always be on the lookout for the next one God wants us to reach in fulfillment of the "Great Commission," seeking out people that we can share the gospel with and help disciple in their walk with Christ. At Lighthouse, this discipleship mission is at the forefront of everything we do.
As inspiration, we began a campaign in 2024 called "Who's Your Next One?" to get people to remember to not only ask themselves this question, but also to let the church be inspired by seeing the results of this with a visual display representing all the conversations happening to make disciples of Christ. Not only this, but to see the fruit of it with conversations that led to salvation. As conversations are held, their names are written on a ping pong ball and dropped in the LF display so we can see them all and also be able to corporately pray over each person, that Christ continue to reach them.
