Jesus didn’t come to be served, but to serve—and as we follow Him, we do the same. At Lighthouse, Serve is step three of the Discipleship Pathway because growth doesn’t stop with receiving. As Jesus changes us, we begin to live like Him—giving our time, using our gifts, and meeting needs with joy. We value the towel (John 13:4-5) over the trophy, choosing selfless service over recognition and contribution over comfort.
We believe every member is a minister. God has uniquely shaped you to make a difference, both inside the church and beyond. When you serve, you help create spaces where people can encounter Jesus and take their next step in faith. It’s one of the clearest ways we move from simply attending church to actively being the church!
