The Call to Discipleship

Sep 14, 2025    Dan Morris

In the face of tragedy, we’re reminded that our fight isn’t against politics or ideology—it’s against evil itself. Jesus taught us to pray, “Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven,” calling us to live with a faith that transforms both our lives and the world around us. That transformation begins by returning to the basics of Acts 2: devoting ourselves to God’s Word, fellowship, breaking bread, and prayer.

Discipleship isn’t just attending church; it’s being the church—every day, everywhere. We’re called to be everyday missionaries where we live, work, learn, and play, letting our lives reflect Jesus to a hurting world. Authentic discipleship happens in both large gatherings and small groups, where we can be real, grow deeper, and encourage each other.
