This will be the connection point for the Lighthouse Pre-serve team.

As we activate the team, this page will be the spot to find the schedule and basic information needed to effectively welcome our online audience.

Pre-serv Format 

PRE-SERV is the live welcome segment used to introduce our live worship service to the online audience.

The host for Pre-serve will also ad-lib a sincere, welcoming, brief closing segment for the livestream event.

Purpose
To pave the way into the worship service; to greet onliners and make them feel welcome.

Target
One person; online viewers, one person at a time.

Success
Online engagement, click metrics, fluidity of worship.


PDQ (promote and drive quickly) will be the quick way of understanding how we will format Pre-serv. 
Here are the particulars:

  • Pre-serv will welcome the online viewer, being mindful of potential first-timers. Rather than speaking to a crowd, we will speak to one person at a time, communicating as if speaking to that one person face to face.
  • There will be no event announcements. However, we will use this time to DRIVE our viewers to the website where they will find all of the announcements and Lighthouse-related information they will need.
  • The PROMOTE angle will be a series of approved liner cards that will inform our banter. Each week we’ll use a liner card to promote an idea about being a #worldchanger at Lighthouse.
  • The segment will be approximately ONE MINUTE in length, beginning precisely at the service start time.
  • The pre-serv host will use a hand-held mic with a Lighthouse-branded mic flag.
  • Pre-serv only happens for any service with a livestream.
  • The host will also close the livestream with a brief, welcoming, and helpful comment designed to encourage the viewer to return, and once again drive them to the website.
