It’s easy to see what needs to change, dream about something better, and even make a plan—but eventually faith has to move into action. Nehemiah trusted God for success while he and the people started rebuilding, persevering through criticism, opposition, distractions, and discouragement. His example reminds us that God has already placed something in our hands to use for His purposes: our time, talents, and treasure. A Jesus revolution doesn’t happen by waiting for somebody else to do something; it happens when we surrender what God has given us and take the next faithful step.
